This committee is an important part of the school community.
It aims to:
Stimulate the interest of parents in the education of their children and education in general.
Provide a forum for parents, teachers and members of the community to be involved with topics relevant to prep and primary education.
Be involved in decision-making and reviews of school practices.
Fundraise for resources to support school programs.
Conduct working bees to beautify the learning environment.
Fundraising efforts to date include $30 000 annual contribution to school budget, fans in TCBC, class readers, technology upgrades (data projectors & interactive whiteboards), contribution to School Refresh (painting of buildings), improved amenities around the school such as shade and seating areas, contribution to the new Multi-Purpose Learning Area, musical instruments & equipment and more!
As many parents as possible are encouraged to attend the meetings which are held in The Carol Buchanan Centre conference room (TCBC). Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from February to November (excluding school holidays) at 6pm.

The school has an active and highly effective Parents and Citizens Association who provide oversight for both the Tuckshop and the Out of Hours School Care programs that are well supported by the school community.
