Parents/caregivers are welcomed into the school and communication from teachers to families is regular, appropriate and via a variety of mediums.
Class teachers conduct parent/caregiver information sessions at the beginning of each year, oral reporting (3 Way Conversations) is conducted twice per year in addition to two written reports per year.
Teachers phone or email parents/caregivers as required and parents/caregivers are invited to students’ demonstrations of learning upon completion of units of work.
Information sessions and training are also offered to parents/caregivers during the year.
Parents/caregivers are encouraged to arrange appointments to speak with class teachers by speaking with the class teacher directly, contacting the school office on 4799 1333 or by emailing admin@thewillowsss.eq.edu.au
