Parents are welcomed into the school and communication from teachers to families is regular, appropriate and via a variety of mediums.
Class teachers conduct parent information sessions at the beginning of each year, oral reporting (3 Way Conversations) is conducted twice per year in addition to two written reports per year.
Teachers phone or email parents as required and parents are invited to students’ demonstrations of learning upon completion of units of work.
Information sessions and training are also offered to parents during the year. Parent volunteers are encouraged to work in classrooms.
Parents are encouraged to arrange appointments to speak with class teachers by speaking with the class teacher directly, contacting the school office 4799 1333 or by emailing admin@thewillowsss.eq.edu.au
