Before school
Prior to 8.00 am - No students should be in the school grounds prior to 8.00am. (There is no staff supervision)
Students arriving between 8.00 am and 8.15 am sit quietly in the Main Covered Play Area (MCPA).
Students go straight to the CPA and do not take their bags to the classroom first.
At 8.15 am students move to the below areas:
8.40 am - Students transition from morning area to classrooms.
All students go to the toilet, get a drink and move to classrooms.
First learning session
8.50 am – 11.00 am: First teaching session.
First break
11.00 am – 11.20 am - Supervised eating time
All students go to the toilet, get a drink and move to eating area.
11.20 am – 11.40 am - Play time.
Students play in designated areas, supervised by teachers on playground duty.
Second learning session
11.40 am – 1.10 pm - Middle teaching session.
Second break
1.10 pm – 1.25 pm - Supervised eating time.
All students go to the toilet, get a drink and move to eating area.
1.25 pm – 1.45 pm - Play time.
Students play in designated areas, supervised by teachers on playground duty.
Last learning session
1.45 pm – 2.55 pm: Afternoon teaching session.
2.55 pm - Dismissal time.
End of day
Bus children report immediately and sit in the designated bus area.
Kalynda Chase Bus – students wait near office when released from class at 2.55 pm.
Rangewood Bus – students wait in main CPA when released from class at 2.55 pm.
Rupertswood Bus – students wait in main CPA when released from class at 2.55 pm.
Shaw Bus- students wait on the stage in the main CPA when released from class at 2.55 pm.
Students who are collected by car wait inside the school fence at the Stop, Drop and Go
When parents do not arrive prior to 3.25 pm to collect students, students report to the office.
