Volunteers and visitors to the school
Volunteers are an integral and valued part of our school community. We welcome and encourage parents and carers to assist in areas such as reading, spelling and mathematics. The school ensures that any necessary training is offered when it is required.
Prior to working with students in any capacity, volunteers must complete the mandatory training for volunteers. Please see the office staff for further details and information on the next volunteer training.
Volunteers who are not parents (including grandparents) of students attending The Willows State School are required to hold and present a Blue Card prior to working with any students.
All visitors and volunteers must sign in at the office and collect a volunteer/visitors badge before going to the classrooms and sign out at the office before leaving.
