NRL Development Cup news

Last night our open rugby league team defeated The Cathedral School 10-4 in their NRL Development Cup game.
The NRL Development Cup is a competition for 12 years and under school based teams played under knock out format. This program is run in conjunction with the QRL and NRL Development. There are close to 400 schools that participate in this competition.
Our students survived the knock out rounds against other local Townsville schools and then travelled to Charters Towers to play Columba Catholic College. Their win in that game pitted them against The Cathedral School. They will now play Proserpine State School in early term 3 in the North Queensland final for the Les Stagg Trophy.
